Come one and all to the official unorganized LHHS Class of '87 picnic!

When: Sunday, July 22, approximately 10:00 am
(We set the time early for those of you with little kids that nap in the afternoon. You are welcome to come later after you recover from the night before.)

Where: Laguna Hills Community Center Park
The location of the park is below LHHS on the corner of Alicia Pkwy and Paseo de Valencia. You can park in the lot just north of Alicia. Look for a spot in the grass area to the left of the picnic tables. We will have someone come early to place chairs and brown and gold balloons (would anyone want to volunteer?) The park will not allow us to post a sign. The spot is unreserved.

What to bring:

Your friends and family.
Your own picnic brunch or lunch and something to share.
You may also want to bring blankets and chairs.
Games, balls, Frisbees...

We encourage everyone to post a current photo. In your own Flickr account you can also post any photos you think others would enjoy seeing... ones of family, kids, old high school snapshots, etc. Its easy to set up an account and start uploading.

A note about Flickr: When you start an account, you need to leave the photos PUBLIC in order for people in our class to view the pictures. So far we can only see about half the members who have posted because they have checked the "Private" box.

Also, make sure you only send one photo to the group front page pool so you don't flood the front page with your whole album. There should be one picture of each member on the front, and when you click on that member, the person's album should pop up. You can post as many photo to your personal page as you wish.

Group Rate Available at the Crowne Plaza

If you are planning on staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, for the reunion weekend, there is a negotiated group rate of $94 per night. This discount is good up until two weeks before July 21st.

IF YOU ARE TOLD BY THE HOTEL THAT THE BLOCK IS FULL, CONTACT TAMI BLUME'. SHE WILL HAVE THE HOTEL ADD MORE ROOMS TO OUR BLOCK.

Help Us Invite Teachers

We will be sending invitations to the LHHS teachers for the reunion on July 21st. Mr. McCormack said that the teachers usually don't come unless they have personal invites from former students. Information on the 20-Year Class Reunion

The LHHS 20-Year Reunion will be held Saturday, July 21st 2007. The party will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Irvine-Orange County Airport, 17941 Von Karman, Irvine, California.

The start time is 7:00 pm. The price is $93 per person. Tickets will be held at the door.

The price will increase $10 on June 22, 2007 and only prepaid tickets are guarenteed a dinner.

Welcome Laguna Hills High School Class of 1987

Welcome one and all to the Laguna Hills High School class of 1987
reunion group. Here you will find all the info for the reunion to be
held July 21, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Irvine. Now, for those
of you with really good memories, that is where we held our senior
prom.

I would like to thank Tami McGovern (Blume') for again taking the
initiative and becoming the reunion chairperson. It is because of her
efforts that we are able to announce the date and location of the
reunion so early. I would also like to thank the other committee
members - with special mention going to Shirelle and Diana - for
graciously volunteering their time; Bridget Auer (Corich), Pete
Colburn, Phil Colquette, Diana Flippen (Dede Howrey), Erin Harris
(Reidy), Shirelle Mc Fadden (Hill), Brian Murai, Amy (Otto) Lunenfeld, Troy Wyatt, Kristen (Kogerman) Privat, Susan Flintzer, and Meagan (Hutcheson) Smith.

For those of you who attended the 10 year, you know how much fun we all had. I heard from people afterwards who were unable to attend and really regretted not being there. Please help us get the word out there so we can make this reunion more successful than the last!
